Rick Francis (Singing News) and Karen Peck Gooch (Karen Peck & New River) presented Joyce Croft with the Favorite Song award on Thursday night of the National Quartet Convention. Joyce was unable to attend the Singing News Fan Awards, which was held on Wednesday of this week, but she watched it on SingingNewsTV. She is the writer of “He Sent Him For Me,” recorded by The Inspirations. It was voted Favorite Song for 2025 in the Singing News Fan Awards.
Here’s a little trivia: Joyce (along with her husband, Colbert), was also the writer of the song, “I Can’t Even Walk (Without You Holding My Hand).”
