Singing News TV Celebrates With Silver Dollar City

Fans from all around the world tuned in as SingingNewsTV filmed on three different stages, and generated record-breaking both viewership and subscriber numbers for the network. “Thanks to the incredible partners at Silver Dollar City, SingingNewsTV was able to both live-stream and record several concerts during the renowned ‘Southern Gospel Picnic,” says Singing News Vice President Danny Jones. “Those partners you see pictured—and several others—opened the doors to the park’s Opera House, Riverfront Playhouse, and Echo Hollow to make a way for us to showcase Southern Gospel music from one of the nation’s favorite theme parks. And we’re grateful to share that the efforts put forth for those four days well exceeded our expectations and goals.”

Amanda Carson (SDC Entertainment Supervisor) shares, “It was an honor to share a few great moments from this year’s Southern Gospel Picnic with Singing News and their fans. Over the last 18 seasons, our team has worked hard to provide a great lineup of artists for our guests to enjoy, and this year our reach was significantly bigger with the help of SingingNewsTV! The crew was top notch and a joy to work with. “We’re excited to continue entertaining our guests here at Silver Dollar City —and now to be able to share our festival lineup with a world-wide audience.” “Silver Dollar City and the staff made the broadcast an experience for fans to watch some of their favorites from their living rooms,” adds Sea Walker Media Corporation CEO Scott Godsey. “Echo Hollow filled with thousands of people listening to Southern Gospel music is something we’ve been wanting to do for a long time. ‘Thank you’ to the amazing team at Silver Dollar City and all of the folks watching the live stream!
